Welcome! Guidelines for a Blissful stay

I am absolutely over-the-moon excited to share and welcome you into my sanctuary! As My Dear Guests, your comfort is literally my craft and maintaining a peaceful atmosphere is key; therefore, I ask for your thoughtful consideration of the precious environment we share; please respect:

  • My home, its unique character & personal belongings

  • The calm & enjoyment of my other guests

  • The privacy & peacefulness of my neighbors

This shared courtesy is also what makes staying here so very special.

Payments, Terms & Conditions: Private Stay By MadlyGiving At National Harbor

To ensure a peaceful, restorative stay for everyone, please review the following policies. By completing a reservation, the primary guest (who must be 25 or older) agrees to these terms on behalf of their entire party:

1. Booking & Payments

  • Best Rates: Book directly via my website or phone to avoid third-party fees. Base rates do not include taxes, county fees, gratuities, or add-on services.

  • Deposits & Balances: A 50% deposit is due at booking. The remaining balance is charged to your card on file up to 14 days prior to arrival.

  • Security Deposit: A $250 refundable credit card hold and Photo ID are required on or before check-in. The hold is released within 7 days of checkout, pending a damage inspection.

  • Accepted Payments: Major Credit/Debit Cards, Zelle, Venmo, CashApp, PayPal, ApplePay, or Cashier's/Traveler's Checks. No cash, personal checks, or cryptocurrency accepted.

2. Available Discounts

Discounts and Special Offers cannot be combined and must be requested at the time of reservation. Discount/Special/Eligibility:

  • 10% Off - Returning Guests, AAA Members, Seniors, Military

  • 20 % Off - 501(c)(3) Nonprofits, Writers' Package, Colored Women’s Eating Club

  • 30% Off - Full-house overnight guests who add a full-service brunch

  • Free Massage - Book 4+ consecutive nights (or on your 4th stay)

  • BOGO Massage - Book 3+ consecutive nights

  • 2nd Night Free - Book 1 night + add a Massage + add Breakfast in Bed (or Candlelight)

3. Stay Requirements & Check-In

  • Check-In/Out: Check-in after 4:00 PM; Check-out before 12:00 PM. Please text 301-455-4144 upon arrival and departure.

  • Early/Late Access: Subject to availability. Late check-out (up to 4 hours) incurs a $50 fee and must be requested in advance.

  • Stay Limits: Minimum 2 nights required (seasonally and for business events); Maximum 7 nights.

  • Capacity: The full house accommodates a maximum of 6 guests with 3 queen beds. Only registered guests are permitted on the property.

4. House Rules & Environment

  • Restrictions: To maintain a calming environment, my home does not accommodate children under 13, pets, smoking/vaping indoors, unregistered parties, illegal drugs, or weapons. Violating restrictive policies will result in a $500 fine and subject to immediate nonrefundable cancellation of reservation.

  • Shared Spaces (No Exclusive Use): Renting a room does not guarantee exclusive use of my home. Other guests or private dining experiences may be present. "Exclusive Use" of the entire home must be specifically booked for an additional fee.

  • Events: Using my home for gatherings with non-overnight guests requires a signed Venue Contract and additional fees prior to arrival.

  • Food & Dining: A Help-Yourself Complimentary Continental breakfast is included. Full brunch and private dining experiences require an advance reservation and an extra fee.

  • Cleaning: A cleaning/amenities service fee ($15–$50/night) applies. Please be courteous by placing soiled towels, bath mats, robes & slippers in the laundry basket (in your closet) and dirty dishes in the dishwasher before departure.

5. Location, Parking & Transportation

  • Getting Around: Though I am located literally in the backyard of National Harbor, only .2 miles, there is no direct walking path. Driving or ride-sharing (3–8 minutes) is required. Tip: Ask your Uber/Lyft driver to pull all the way up the driveway.

  • Parking: Free parking is available up in the driveway or on the street. Please do not block garage doors or neighboring driveways & mailboxes.

  • Airport Transfers: Private car service for airport pickup/drop-off is available through my preferred car service at separate charge.

6. Legal 

  • Liability Waiver: Guests agree to hold harmless MaribyCorpening dba Private Stay By MadlyGiving, owner, hosts, staff, vendors, subcontractors, landlords, the property, and the property owner(s), from any and all liability, injury, or loss regardless of cause or negligence.
