In memory of the exceptional women—My Momma, My Auntie, My Mother-In-Law—who have profoundly influenced My Life, a purpose-filled retreat—My guest rooms so named in their honor (Sissy, Shirley & Sanata) are decorated in deep, rich, Afrocentric patterns, prints, textures and color palettes, complemented throughout with African Art—Brilliant portraits and wood-carved masks & statues that command my home—striking living room galleria, grand dining/meeting room, comfy-cozy Morning/TV room (as there are no TVs in room), kitchen access, private backyard deck drenched in natural sunlight, outdoor balcony with dreamy sunsets and scenic nightscapes, not to mention, random fireworks display off the banks of the Potomac River at National Harbor, as well, I offer Themed Brunch/Dinner/Tea Party Experiences (up to 10 guests seated) at additional charge by Reservation Only.

The distinguished character of my space caters primarily to the solo/small group/business/remote traveler, as well as couples, intimate groups/occasions, including leisure and international travelers to/in/around The National Capitol Area.

ACCOMMODATIONS INCLUDE

• One Or All Three Guests Rooms — Standard size, eloquently appointed with queen-size beds, goose down-stuffed duvet comforters, soft bamboo sheets, 100% cotton towels, plush fleece bath robes, welcoming toiletry trays, plus 2.5 baths

• Kitchen — Access to full kitchen—except, cooking on the stove top is not permitted—and guests are fully responsible for cleaning up after themselves. NOTE: Breakfast Options—Are available, but NOT included in room rate! Though, you have breakfast options, please let me know in advance, if you require breakfast?  All Breakfast/Dining Experiences—except Help-Yourself Continental—Available at Additional Charge By Reservation Only!

• Morning/TV Room — As there are no TVs in my guest rooms, this room is cozy and comfortable and in the mornings, put your feet up and sip a cup of coffee in the warmth of the morning sun

• Formal Dining/Meeting Room — Fit for grandeur, comfortably serves up to 10 guests (seated) for one of my 5-Star Private Dining Experiences—at charge by reservation only

• Living/Drawing Room Galleria — Warm and inviting with master chess table, games and lots of nostalgic photos and African-American history

• Outdoor Balcony/Deck — Private backyard deck great for dining, napping or just basking in the warmth of the sun and scenic front balcony with gorgeous sunsets, views of National Harbor, MGM, Woodrow Wilson Bridge and across the bridge into Alexandria, VA, not to mention, random fireworks display off the banks of the Potomac River at National Harbor

Accommodations include breakfast options, central air/heat, high-speed internet, in-room ceiling/fan, bathrobes, towels, toiletries, iron/board, hair dryer and unexpected joy & peace. NOTE: $150 Cleaning Fee applies with all Full-House Reservations.
