Q. Who are you? A. In The Spirit Of Giving Forward, I Am HospiTalent Mariby Corpening—An Artist In My Everyday—I write! I paint! I cook! I sew! I serve! I comfort! I give! I love! I laugh! I…live—I Am MadlyLiving, Inherently MadlyGiving!

Q. So, what exactly do you do? A. I host 5-Star Boutique B&B stays and private dining experiences offered in humble exchange for donations that support local nonprofits. I am a home cook who enjoys a good meal; so, I set out to specialize in elevating the standards of The Brunch/Dining Experience.  My aim is to make my guests’—spirit, belly and being—go, Oooooooom

Q. What is "A Brunch of Sundays" and "Brunch & Learns"? A. These are intimate dining experiences (3–4 hours) designed to bring people together. You can participate as a guest or sponsor a brunch to share knowledge or showcase a cause. All proceeds support the charitable endeavors of The MadlyGiving Campaign.

Q. What is “The MadlyGiving Campaign?” A. With the many splendid things I do…for you, in humble exchange for your purpose-filled contributions through donation, reservation, participation, collaboration and/or sponsorship at B&B Accommodations, A Brunch & Learn, Dinner Party, Private Dining Experience and/or Other Services—inherent fundraising—through The MadlyGiving Campaign, together, we help to support select Nonprofits in vital hands-on outreach in our local community.

Q. What are the MadlyLiving Chronicles™? A. I also write, so the MadlyLiving ChroniclesTM are mostly, uh, uh, true works of my art, based on a series (mere situations really) of non-fiction, artistically painted with some conviction, logistically tainted with a Hole's lot of suspicion, some just wrong and even offensive diction, written Holely for the purpose of mature, laugh-out-loud, adult entertainment. Perhaps a bit wild, in My State of Mid-Life ... Style, why you'll find that My Brand of Entertaining Erotica very personally relates to you, you and yeah [old man], you too!  I swear, it’s The Hole's Truth!

Location & Accommodations

Q. Where are you located? A. I am located only 0.2 miles from National Harbor, MD.

  • Proximity:  Centrally located, only 4.5 miles to Old Town Alexandria VA, 14 miles South to Mount Vernon and/or North to downtown Washington DC, 6.7 miles to Joint Base Andrews and 4 miles to Joint Base Anacostia–Bolling AFBs.

  • Transport: While I am "in the backyard" of the Harbor, there is no rear pedestrian access. You must drive or use Uber/Lyft (3–8 minutes). It is not walkable!

Q. What are your accommodations? A. I offer three well-appointed guest rooms in my private home. Guests are encouraged to make a donation ($25–$100+) to The MadlyGiving Campaign to help support select nonprofits in hands-on outreach in our local community.

Brunch & Dining Details

Q. How many people can you accommodate? A. Brunch/Dining Experiences are private, intentionally kept intimate and served seated ideally for 6-8 guests; though, will accommodate up to 10 guests—for a sit-down dining experience. For a buffet-style brunch, I can accommodate 30–40 guests.

Q. What is on the menu? A. Every brunch features my "Infamous Buttermilk SLAP Biscuits," the standard breakfast fare PLUS; though, I take pleasure in asking, What for breakfast have you been nostalgically craving? I have a thoughtfully-prepared menu selections; however, you may mix it up (at charge).  Visit my Menu Options page and click on the Menu Button.Vegan, vegetarian, dietary restrictions and cultural preference options are available with advanced notice.

Q. How much does a Dining Experience cost? A. Custom private dining experience start at $75/guest, with most popular menus averaging $100/guest.

Q. Do you cater or host large events? A. No. This is my private home, not an event space. I do not offer off-site catering or drop-off services, though I can recommend professional caterers for your stay.

Payments & Policies

Q. How do I pay/donate? A. I accept Credit/Debit, Zelle, CashApp, Venmo, and ApplePay. No cash, checks or cryptocurrency. Full payment is required two (2) weeks prior to arrival.

Q. What are the deposit and cancellation terms?

  • B&B Stays: 50% deposit at booking; balance due 14 days prior to arrival. Deposits are non-refundable, though transferable.

  • Dining: 50% deposit to secure the date; balance due 2 weeks prior. All payments are non-refundable. Cancellations within 48 hours of a meal are non-transferable.

  • No-Shows: Responsible for 100% of the reservation cost.

Q. What are the house rules for brunch?

  • Arrival: Please be punctual so the food stays fresh; seating begins once most guests arrive.

  • Parking: Free in the driveway or off-street; please do not park on the grass, block garage doors or neighboring driveways & mailboxes.

  • Photos: Photography for social media is common. Please alert me if you prefer not to be photographed.
