Standard size guest room, features queen-size bed (sleeps 2), boudoire-ish with highlighted images of our “Queendom” with soft, pillowy accents of Teal & Peacock Blues & Karats of Copper & Gold with shared full bath. Specialty Gift Basket recommended!
Full House
All three (3) standard-size guest rooms (sleeps 6), features striking living room galleria, grand dining room, comfy-cozy morning/TV room (as there are no TVs in room), kitchen access, 2.5 baths, private backyard deck and scenic front balcony. Brunch Experience for up to 10 guests recommended!

As I am listed on several other platforms—Airbnb, Booking.com, Priceline—rates vary seasonally, are based on single/double occupancy and are subject to change, as well, taxes, fees, gratuities and additional requested services are not included in quoted room rates; though, for the best rates, convenience and to save on cost (by avoiding third-party service fees), Book Direct.
Discounts Available—35% Discount on Brunch Experience with overnight stay, Military Service members may request a 15% discount, returning guests 10% discount, as well Subscribed Members of The Colored Women’s Eating Club may request a 25% discount.
Deposits—Fifty percent (50%) deposit is due at time of reservation with the remaining 50% balance (including applicable taxes, fees and requested services) to be charged to your credit card on file up to 14 days prior to your arrival. All reservations are subject to the Maryland State Sales Tax, Prince George’s County Hotel Tax and Cleaning Fee.
Cancellations—Certainly aware that life happens and plans do change. Free cancellation/refundable deposit within 24 hours of reservation; afterwards, deposits are nonrefundable; though transferable. No refunds for cancellations made within 14 days/2 weeks of check-in; if you must cancel, let me know and, based on availability during a non-peak period, within one year, I will make every effort to reschedule your stay.
NOTE: No shows, cancellations (within 14 days of reservations), late check-ins and early check-outs are responsible for full payment of the reservation in its entirety and are fully nonrefundable; accordingly, your credit card will be charged at the time of cancellation for the balance of your stay.
Maximum Number of Guests—For full-house overnight stay, three (3) queen beds, accommodating up to six (6) guests are available; though, up to four (4) additional guests are allowed to stay at $75/guest, as twin/full air mattresses are permissible—10 guests max.
Minimum / Maximum Stay—From season to season, two (2) night minimum may be required on weekends (Fri-Sat) for individual rooms ONLY; rental of the full house requires one (1) night minimum stay; maximum stay is 7 days.
Same-Day Reservations/Arrivals—Please contact me direct for same-day reservations. Note that I generally don’t take same-day (and I never take walk-in) reservations; however, sometimes, the house is available for service; so, call Mariby direct—301.455.4144 to confirm same-day availability.
Breakfast Options—Are available, but NOT included in room rates. As my guests have varying requirements and preferences, Breakfast Options are served UPON REQUEST AT CHARGE BY RESERVATION ONLY! NOTE: While Complimentary Help Yourself Continental is available throughout your stay, Breakfast In Bed, Basic American Breakfast, Bed & Breakfast Experience and Full Service Brunch Experiences are served at charge by reservation only! You may also reserve one of my 5-star I DREAM A BRUNCH / TEA / DINNER PARTY dining experiences—in advance at a separate charge (minimum 6 guests, maximum 10 guests / full-house).
Restrictions—Although, I love them, too, children (under 13), pets, parties, events, smoking, alcohol, drugs and weapons are not conducive to the rather introspective, restorative and calming surroundings. While intimate affairs of 6-10 guests are offered (at additional charge by reservation only), notably, Maryland law prohibits drinking under the age of 21 and use of illegal narcotic drugs and firearms.
Location—Private Stay By MadlyGiving is centrally located in the DMV, .2 miles, only a 3-minute drive, literally in backyard to the National Capital Area’s latest and greatest travel destination —National Harbor, MD, only a 10-minute drive into Old Town Alexandria, VA and 20 minutes South to Mount Vernon VA and/or North to downtown Washington, DC’s historic tourist, government/political, business, international trade, multi-cultural dining, sports and entertainment districts.
Car / Uber Transportation Necessary—Please don’t be deceived by the close proximity on Maps; yes, while I am only minutes away in the backyard of National Harbor—a gated community, there is no rear access point; so, depending on where at the Harbor you’re going, you must drive (3-8 minutes) the long way around through the front entrance; so, car/Uber transportation is necessary.
