It is cold outside! A time when we all crave to come home to a hot, uh, uh, meal - something warm, hearty, comforting, ready and waiting! [Okay, I'll stop!] For me, it's Chicken Pop Pie, made from scratch, aka my way. Yes, I call it "pop," because that's what I do to it! Oh, with my scratch-made pie crust, bottom crust of stuffing [yup, you heard me], roasted chicken & vegetables laddled in Grannie's Bone Broth and my home-made cranberry sauce on the side, OMG! You hear me, it POPS!

Honestly, though I've never had a chicken pot pie I didn't like, I tell you, there's nothing compared to making your own at home. The aromas that fill the house! On a frigid cold day, like it was yesterday, you can feel the warmth of Chicken Pop Pie rushing to greet you at your front door! Ooooooom! #ThingsThatMakeYouGoOom
Though, Chicken Pop Pie is essentially thickened chicken soup, spooned into a pie shell and covered with a top crust, for me, oh, I must have a top AND bottom crust, some stuffing [Whaaat! I hear you] Yup, stuffing is my bottom crust; but, what gives it that pop, I make my own cranberry sauce - from fresh cranberries! My family just goes, Ooooooom! And I tell you, I can never make enough!
